Administer support to the NYMC research community by placing their animal requisitions, ordering ancillary supplies, and other DCM related administrative tasks. Under the direction of the Director of Comparative Medicine, develops and manages all routine and specialized office functions pertaining to the day-to-day and long-term operation of the Department of Comparative Medicine. The incumbent coordinates and integrates office operational functions with a broad spectrum of matters involving the care and use of laboratory animals. The biostatistician will support clinical epidemiology and biomedical research for the Campus Collaborative Research Core (CCRC) program and the Biostatistics Core at New York Medical College for both the college and Touro University. The biostatistician will design studies, collect, and analyze data from medical experiments, interpret the results of the analyses, and collaborate in writing articles to disseminate research findings. They use the quantitative tools of mathematics, statistics, and computing in their day-to-day work.

NYMC seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Cell Biology and Anatomy. The position will be in the Kwak laboratory to study the general mechanisms of enhancer RNAs and RNA condensates. Candidates with a Ph.D. in cell/molecular biology, genetics/genomics, and/or computational biology are encouraged to apply.
