Overview

Assist the researchers with all aspects of conducting clinical research. This includes proficient computer skills and knowledge of programs. Communication is very important for managing subjects and updating investigators. Monitoring phone calls/emails are necessary. Must be very organized and able to prioritize. This includes maintaining the research office by ordering supplies as needed and keeping subject logs up to date.

 

This is a limited term role.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain subject master files and study visit schedules that involves excellent clear verbal communication and typing skills.
  • Maintain office supplies and research documents for entering subjects.
  • Monitoring phones emails and mailbox with appropriate follow through.
  • Assist practitioner as needed including obtaining published documents and compilation of data for analysis.
  • Assist research coordinator with maintaining regulatory files to comply with FDA/GCP regulations.

Qualifications

Education requirement: BA or BS.

 

Licenses or certifications: None, but research certifications for basic human subject research a plus.

 

Technical/computer skills: Basic computer programs and office skills such as filing, scanning, printing, faxing and typing.

 

Prior experience: Clinical research (but not required), knowledge of medical terminology, science/epidemiology background a plus but not required.

 

Physical demands: Able to sit at a desk, type, and use phones most of the day. Ability to walk to other departments to get supplies or documents.

 

Environmental demands: Office environment.

 

Internal Contacts: Doctors, nurses, and laboratory personnel.

 

External Contacts: Patients, doctors, and medical offices.  

Minimum Salary

USD $16.50/Hr.
