Overview

This is a post-doctoral research fellow position involving scientific investigation in an NIH-funded lab within the Department of Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology that studies antibiotic resistance and vaccine development for pathogenic streptococci.

Responsibilities

  1. Perform complex experiments in the fields of bacteriology and immunology.
  2. Provide scientific input to the design of experimental work and interpretation of data.
  3. Guide and supervise laboratory research assistants.
  4. Self-guidance to learn new methodologies and gain expertise in new scientific areas, as needed.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D., M.D. or other doctorate in a scientific or medical discipline
  • Five years (or more) of wet lab bench work.

Minimum Salary

USD $46,400.00/Yr.

Maximum Salary

USD $58,000.00/Yr.
