A per diem lab specialist position in Dr. Dazhong Xu’s laboratory in the Department of Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology is available. The incumbent will participate in lung cancer research using molecular and cellular approaches, and mouse models. We are looking for a self-motivated and driven individual with significant experience in molecular and cellular techniques to join our lab. This individual should be able to work independently with minimal supervision and be willing to work with mice.
Education requirement: Minimum a master’s degree in a biomedical discipline
Technical/computer skills:
Proficient with basic molecular and cellular techniques: cell culture, Western blot, PCR, molecular cloning, immunostaining, etc.
Familiar with the MS office suite and basic statistical concepts and programs
Prior experience:
Minimum two years of relevant full-time research experience.
